For graduating students HAVO/VWO I developed a final exam assignment: composing a string quartet of two minutes. Lessons consist of an introduction, showing and explaining styles and techniques, 3 weekly guidance-sessions applying Musescore and providing personal feedback.

A workshop-day is offered towards the end of the process: The compositions of the students are played by a professional string quartet and students will give to the players and receive feedback from the players. The project is concluded with a full evening concert featuring all compositions performed by the professional string quartet, and introduced by the composers.
